What’s new for 2016?

It’s that time of the year again to DUST OFF THE GLOVES!  The baseball season is fast approaching and it is time for the 2016 season registration to begin!

It is going to be another great year and we have some exciting news! As we usually sit in the sunshine waiting and wondering why we cannot be on the diamonds at the beginning of May, the town has agreed to start the seasons earlier this year! We are still waiting to see what the dates will be but we will let you know as soon as we do!

We will also see changes to Diamond 3 at the ROC! We all know how big that infield is and the town is going to be reshaping the diamond to make it smaller and more playable.

Also we are bringing back our Banquet!! It is tentatively booked for October 15th and more details will follow!

We would like to welcome Christa Herzog (Treasurer) and Erin Gallant (Events co-ordinator) to our committee this year! Thank you for helping out ladies!

If you have any questions or concerns about the league, please feel free to contact us through

We look forward to seeing you all on the field!!

Tournament day results

Congratulations to Private Eyes who pulled off the A division victory in extra innings over Quick Pizza!

And congratulations to Edward Ward (Royal LePage) for winning the B championship in a rain storm!!!

Best news of the day was that despite the rain, we raised $770 and filled a pickup truck of donated food for the Georgina Food Pantry!!!

Amazing ladies!!! Amazing!!!!

Teams have been picked

Draft Day took place last Sunday and we were able to fill 8 teams! You should be hearing from your captain this week if you haven’t already.

The start date for the season hasn’t been finalized yet, although it’s usually around mid-May. The Town has to give the ok as to when we can start using the diamonds. After such a long winter with so much snow they want to ensure that they’ll be dry enough.

When the schedule is available it will be posted here, so stay tuned!
